Rola pôrodnej asistentky v komunitnej starostlivosti
Cieľom kurzu je vybaviť pôrodnú asistentku v komunitnej starostlivosti teoretickými a praktickými vedomosťami z disciplíny, ktorá v sebe integruje ošetrovateľské teórie s vedeckými poznatkami z iných odborov, potrebné pre poskytovanie zdravotníckych služieb komunite v rámci primárnej, sekundárnej a terciárnej prevencie, ako aj starostlivosti v chorobe, rehabilitácii a následnej starostlivosti. Pôrodná asistentka v komunitnej starostlivosti je schopná poskytovať ošetrovateľskú starostlivosť jednotlivcom, rodine, či komunite, v zdraví alebo v chorobe a prispieť k podpore zdravia, uzdraveniu alebo pokojnému a dôstojnému umieraniu a smrti.

The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with stressors/risks of the working setting in the community nurse activities relating to the workers, to describe the most frequent professional diseases of the health care staff, to call attention to excess psychological load (mental stress) of the health care professionals´ work and to its consequences, and to possible protection of the midwifes´ health in their work.

Cieľom predmetu je poskytnutie poznatkov o najčastejšie sa vyskytujúcich poruchách v priebehu psychického vývinu u detí a dospievajúcich. Prezentácia tém formou prednášok, diskusií a seminárnych prác.

Aplikovaná sociálna psychológia
Predmet je zameraný na vymedzenie aplikovanej sociálnej psychológie a jej postavenie v systéme psychologických vied, kľúčové teórie a sociálno-psychologické javy s dôrazom na aplikovateľnosť a aktuálnosť poznatkov a výskumov.
Biodromálna psychológia
Predmet biodromálnej psychológie dáva študentovi priestor oboznámiť sa
s kľúčovými komponentmi biodromálnej koncepcie vývinu. Študent nachádza
súvislosti medzi teóriou „pripútania“ (attachmentu) ako základného
predpokladu zdravého vývinu dieťaťa a predpokladmi a konzekvenciami
vývinu väzby v neskorších vývinových obdobiach. Študent identifikuje
základné vývinové aspekty a rozlišuje vývinové medzníky, úlohy a krízy
jednotlivých vývinových období. Študent ovláda princípy biodromálnej
diagnostiky a jej využitia v pomáhajúcich profesiách.
