The aim of the first part of the course is to explore the language used in professional and workplace settings, building on previous knowledge of discourse analysis and professional communication. This part will include textual analysis but also a practical component intended to help students find employment post-studies. The second part of the course looks at the importance of data in the modern workplace and how it can be analysed, interpreted and represented visually. This part of the course will also involve a project management component.
