Introduction to English Stylistics

Course annotation 

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the field of English stylistics as a separate linguistic discipline; identify the main trends, concepts, and definitions. The course aims at improving students’ interpretative and analytical skills when working with a variety of literary and non-literary text types, focusing on analytical and critical thinking while adopting the methods of stylistic analysis.
